Service Terms
Last updated: October 22, 2026
These terms apply to the marketing, technology, and support services Byte Advisory LLC (“Byte Advisory”, “we”, “us”) provides to clients under a signed agreement or order form. If anything here conflicts with your signed agreement, your agreement governs.
1. Term and billing
- Monthly services run on an initial 6-month term, billed monthly in advance. Month-to-month terms are available at a higher monthly rate.
- Plans on a 6-month term have no setup fees. Services bought on their own, and any month-to-month arrangement, carry a one-time setup fee equal to one month’s fee, billed at signature with the first month. Kickoff is scheduled after we receive the signed agreement and that first payment.
- Prices are fixed for the term. Pricing for a renewal term may change with 30 days’ notice.
- After the initial term, services continue monthly. Either party may cancel with 30 days’ written notice.
- If you end services before the initial term is complete, the remaining months of the term are due.
- If an invoice is 10 days overdue, work pauses until it is paid.
- Prices are in US dollars and exclude applicable taxes, advertising spend, and third-party fees. Final scope is set in your signed agreement.
2. Plans
- Plan pricing applies while every service in the plan remains active. Removing a service moves the remaining services to individual pricing.
- Upgrades take effect at the next billing cycle. Downgrades take effect at the end of the current term.
3. Paid advertising
- You pay advertising spend directly to the ad platform (for example Meta, Google, OpenAI, or LinkedIn). We never pay or front ad spend on your behalf.
- Each active ad platform requires at least $1,000 a month in ad spend.
- Ad spend ranges in a plan are the total across all included platforms. If your total spend stays in a higher range for 2 consecutive months, your service moves to the matching tier from the following month.
- Ad creatives are included as specified in your agreement and may be shared and resized across platforms. Additional creatives are quoted separately.
- Ad platforms may reject, limit, or restrict ads and accounts under their own policies. We work to resolve these issues but cannot guarantee platform approval.
4. LinkedIn outreach
- Outreach runs from your own LinkedIn profile or from an alternative sender profile that we rent, provide, and manage. You choose before launch.
- Outreach is an activity commitment: the number of connection requests per profile each month set out in your agreement, within LinkedIn’s limits. It is not a promise of meetings or results.
- If you use your own profile, we keep volumes conservative, but LinkedIn may limit or restrict any account and we can’t control its decisions.
- If LinkedIn restricts a profile we provide, we replace it at no extra cost. Connections made on a profile we provide stay with that profile; every reply and lead is exported to your CRM.
- You approve target lists and messaging before outreach begins.
5. Website and CRM care
- Monthly support hours are as specified in your agreement. Unused hours do not roll over.
- Work beyond the included hours is billed at our current hourly rates, only with your prior approval.
- Hosting, software licenses, and CRM subscriptions are paid by you unless you use our managed hosting.
- New websites, new CRM builds, and other projects are quoted separately.
6. Social media
- Content volume and platforms are as specified for your plan. The same content may be adapted for each platform.
- You approve content within 3 business days. Each post includes one round of revisions.
- Unused or unapproved posts do not roll over. Video content may require footage you supply.
7. SEO and GEO (search and AI answers)
- We do not guarantee search rankings, traffic, or inclusion in AI-generated answers.
- Changes to your website go live only after your approval, and every change is logged.
- AI answers vary from one run to the next, so we report trends monthly rather than single results.
- Technical fixes we cannot apply directly are handled through your support hours or quoted separately.
8. PR features
- Publishers have final editorial control. If a feature is rejected or not published within 60 days, we place it on a comparable site.
- Publishers may label paid articles as sponsored and mark links accordingly. Features are provided for visibility and credibility, not as ranking links.
- You approve each article within 3 business days. Features delayed by a publisher move to the next month; features awaiting your approval do not roll over.
- Placements are described as “Featured on” placements, not as news coverage.
9. Existing accounts and new setups
If you bring existing accounts, websites, or CRMs:
- We audit each asset and include limited cleanup. Anything more is quoted before work starts.
- Issues that existed before we started are not our responsibility until fixed. These include broken tracking, ad account restrictions, outdated plugins, CRM data quality, and security problems.
- We may require a rebuild before taking on an asset that is unsafe to run, such as a compromised website or a restricted ad account.
- We provide no warranty on inherited code or settings. Fixes are billed as support hours.
If we set things up for you:
- We are responsible for what we build, and we fix defects reported within 30 days of delivery at no charge.
10. Ownership
- You own your ad accounts, CRM data, website, and delivered content once paid in full.
- Anything you choose to run on our platforms, such as managed hosting or a CRM sub-account, remains our account. Your data is always yours and is exported on request.
- Our templates, tools, processes, and workflows remain ours.
11. If you leave
- We remove our access, return documentation, and provide an export of your data.
- Moving websites or systems off our hosted platforms is quoted separately.
12. Results
We do not guarantee leads, sales, meetings, or return on ad spend. We commit to doing the work, testing what works, and reporting honestly, and we will tell you early when something is not working.
13. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The version in effect when you sign your agreement applies to your current term.
